These chickens are pasture-raised on organically grown crops and grass-lands, the bulk of their diet comprises the diet most suited to them – supplement feed is kept to a minimum and contains no GMO’S, antibiotics or growth promoters.

If you choose a whole heritage breed chicken, these are more brown meat, less white, dry-aged French Bresse style (aged in linen) and best cooked on high heat at a high temperature. For 1 – 1.2kg – a hot oven for 50 minutes at 200 degrees works well.
