Tori Raine A2 Kefir.
Tori Raine is a farm bringing A2 dairy to our tables from their Dexter herd. A2 is an different strain of the protein (beta casein) in milk that differs from A1 which is found in cross-bred breeds typically. Dexter cows give A2 milk and this is popular among parents whose children can’t deal with normal dairy. A2 beta casein is the same form of protein in goats milk, why it is often better tolerated too than A1 milk. The milk is reported to be more tolerable for those who suffer from lactose intolerance.
The herd is grazed on a Limpopo farm and tested regularly for TB and brucelosis.
Kefir is a cultured, fermented beverage. It has a tart, creamy flavor, and it’s loaded with probiotic health benefits.
Because kefir is fermented, most people who are lactose intolerant can tolerate it without issue.
Kefir typically has more fat than yogurt, but it also has more protein and more probiotics. Kefir is also thinner and is best as a drink. Yogurt has a thicker consistency.
Kefir contains a larger number of different types of healthy bacteria, and it’s better for the gastrointestinal tract because of this. Kefir’s active yeast also has more nutritional benefits than that of yogurt.
